We Road Test the 2010 Range Rover Sport – on and off road
It’s a remarkable 40 years this year since Land Rover introduced the world to its first luxury 4×4 – the Range Rover – and changed the car landscape forever. And despite many pretenders to its throne the Range Rover is still the ultimate SUV, and probably the only luxury 4×4 that is as at home in a field as it is on the Kings Road. But by the time the Range Rover passed its thirtieth birthday and we moved in to a new millennium it started to see challenges to its throne from more road-oriented SUVS.

If you were signed up for AutoWeek Fantasy Camp, you'd have climbed into the ten best sports coupes under $50,000 for a day of blasting around the Ford Dearborn Development Center. Participants started with a morning briefing covering safety regulations and track guidelines; after that, they cut loose on the track for 9/10ths driving with pros riding shotgun, full vehicle evaluations, plus conversations with Chip Foose and the folks from Meguiars and ZF.
Hyundai & Kia to spend up to $395 on lump sum fuel settlements
Back in 2012, Hyundai and Kia had to stand up and accept that they’d overstated the official economy of a number of their models and attempt to put things right. They did that by offering all buyers of affected cars a compensation plan which repaid owners for their losses over expectation, added 15 per cent for good measure and made that ongoing for the lifetime of the ownership. But this is the USA, so it wasn’t all as straightforward as that.
